Father of the Year Event - take 2

Last night Eli had the opportunity to again speak at the Father of the Year benefiting the American Diabetes Association. This time it was in San Diego. There were over 500 people there and by the end of the night they had raised over $200,000. Go here to see and hear his speech. I am so proud of him and his dedication to helping find the cure.

What a great speech. I couldn't help but tear up at the end, "...people like you make such a big difference in the lives of kids like me." Who could listen to that sweet speech and hear that, and then not donate. No wonder so much money was raised.

I'm so glad they have such a fun camp for Eli to meet other kids that he can relate to and to help him realize that he is not alone with his challenges. He is an amazing kid.
